Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides: A mix of pure vegetable polyglycerides derived from sunflower oil. Possess emollient, moisturizing and smoothing properties, and help to improve skin barrier function and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Rice (Oryza sativa) bran wax: Rice has been used for centuries to improve the skin’s appearance and achieve a flawlessly silky complexion. It is rich in B-complex vitamins, vitamin E and gamma oryzanol. Rice has excellent moisturising, regenerative, smoothing, revitalising and anti-inflammatory properties. Promotes moisture and softening to the lips.

Berry Fruit Wax: A natural wax obtained from the peel of the berry fruit of the varnish tree, also known as Chinese Lacquer Tree. Shows good emollient properties.

Castor (Ricinus communis) seed oil: A virgin castor oil pressed from castor beans. Provides a protective barrier, reduces transepidermal water loss and promotes moisturisation.

Sunflower (Helianthus annus) oil: The oil obtained from the seeds of sunflower is rich in linoleic acid (Omega-6). It demonstrates excellent moisturising, nourishing, protective and soothing properties. The extract of sunflower seeds is rich in vitamin E, and demonstrates protective and skin-conditioning properties.

Vegetable oil: A natural vegetable-derived oil with excellent moisture-retention, emollient and conditioning properties.

Candelilla (Euphorbia cerifera) wax: A wax obtained from the leaves of candelilla plant. Shows excellent emollient, smoothing and film-forming properties.

Cocoa (Theobroma cacao) seed butter: Obtained from the cocoa seeds, cocoa butter demonstrates excellent nourishing and moisturising properties and improves skin softness and suppleness. Softens and smooths lips.

Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) butter: A natural lipid extracted from the seeds of the Shea tree, also known as Karité. Demonstrates excellent moisturising, smoothing, healing and protecting properties.

Rapeseed (Brassica campestris) phytosterols: A mixture of phytosterols derived from the rapeseed plant. Due to excellent biomimetic and soothing properties, these phytosterols help to strengthen barrier function and enhance the skin’s natural repair process.

Pomegranate (Punica Granatum) sterols: A mixture of lipid molecules obtained from pomegranate seed oil. Increase moisture levels, reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and enhance the skin’s barrier function. Rich in punicic acid, an omega 5 fatty acid that shows antioxidant activity and helps protect against environmental stress responsible for extrinsic ageing.

Lecithin: A vegetable-based phosphatidylcholine, a natural part of all cell membranes. Shows emollient, moisturising and smoothing properties.

Phospholipids: Major building components in the structure of cellular membranes. These natural, skin-identical ingredients demonstrate excellent moisturising, repairing and protective properties.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1: A peptide composed of 3 amino acids: glycine, histidine and lysine. Demonstrates restoring, restructuring and repairing properties.

Soybean (Glycine soja): Structurally similar to skin’s natural lipids, sterols from soybean oil moisturise the skin, reduce water loss, strengthen natural barrier function and soothe the skin. The extract of the soybean seed provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, collagen-boosting properties and regenerative properties.

Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra): An extract from liquorice root rich in 18-beta-glycyrrhetinic acid. Shows strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and soothing properties.

Sodium Hyaluronate: A salt of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA improves skin moisture, strengthens barrier function, helps to retain and maintain skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restores skin suppleness.

Glucomannan: A polysaccharide obtained from Konjac root. Exhibits moisturising, skin conditioning and protecting properties.

Shiso (Perilla frutescens): Shiso, also known as Japanese mint, is a plant rich in polyphenols (particularly rosmarinic acid) and triterpenoids (particularly ursolic acid). We use an extract obtained from Shiso leaf which demonstrates excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-allergic properties. Shiso leaf has been used for years in Kampo medicine due to strong detox properties, and its ability to soothe sensitive skin and prevent skin reactivity. The oil extracted from the seeds of Shiso is the richest plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. It replenishes moisture, reinforces the skin’s natural barrier and shows strong restructuring, repairing, healing and soothing properties.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol): A naturally derived vitamin with powerful antioxidant and photoprotective properties. Tocopherol is an excellent moisturiser that helps to reduce water loss and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: An ester derived from coconut oil and glycerin. Shows excellent emollient, moisturising and skin-replenishing properties.

Ascorbyl Palmitate: An ester derivate of vitamin C with good antioxidant properties.
